Biggest idiot when it comes to putting seats back....

As you have probably already guessed by now, I'm having a difficult time locking my 3rd row back seats back into place as they're not positioned correctly. Did anyone have an issue clicking the seats back together? I think it's something on the floor that I am missing, because the little bar is clicked into place on both sides near the window. That & my seats tilt at an angle where you can clearly tell something on the floor isn't connected to the seat making it leveled. I'm going nuts right now, having to deal with titled seats (OCD) in my vehicle. Let me know if if anyone has a short video or a simple write up as I have tried to use search feature but only found threads regarding seats & bolts (???)

Hopefully I'm not stating the obvious: there are a set of feet/claws that flip out on the bottom of each seat and attach to the cleat in the floor area of the 3rd row. If you don't flip out the feet/claws, the third row seats will dip down in the middle. See the pics below.
