Bilstein 1.75 Front, 1 or 1.5 Rear Spacer 265/70/17s

First post. Here's a pic of my 17 TRD ORP w/KDSS with Bilstein 5100 all around. Before and after pics. Installed yesterday from a local shop. I have 0.5 inch rear cornfed spacer that I wanted installed but the shop refuses to install in saying that they did not want to be liable for it. Any ways, Im aware of the negative 0.25 inch rake that it yields to that frame since I have 0 rear. Debating if I should install the 0.5 inch cornfed spacer in the rear or just go with the 1 inch spacer. I want more of a level look with a slight positive rake.

Sounds like you need to find a new shop. Anyone that refuses to install a rear spacer for liability is clueless.

I'm starting to think they just didn't want to do it because they misquoted me for the labor charge for it ($55) and wanted to get out of it. I'll probably attempt to do it myself. Shouldn't be too hard.

Looking at your picture I would agree with you on the 1" spacer if you want to go back to having a small rake. Cornfed spacers are marked left and right. Left is slightly thicker to compensate for the DS lean so be sure to put the correct spacer on the correct side. Spacer install is easy though so if you have even basic tools and mechanical knowledge you'll do just fine. Only 2 things that need to be unbolted are the swaybar links on both sides and the shocks. Drop the axle down, pull the springs out, put the spacers on, put the springs back in. I've done it a bunch of time, always do my own work and I work alone so no need for a 2nd hand but of course it never hurts. Especially if that 2nd helping hand happens to bring beer lol

So I've been wondering about this a while too. Billstein 5100s set to 1.75" in front, would the wiser option be to get rear springs that give me a .75"-1" lift, or just spacers for the rear and be done? And if I did rear springs, wouldn't it be prudent to do the fronts as well?

Here is mine with the front set at 1.75” , 1.5” spacers in the rear, and 265/70’s.
