Bilstein 5100 question

I just received my 5100's in the mail today and in the next few days I will attempt to install them myself. Before I do so, I wanted to know if there are any drawbacks and or drivability differences between the four different height settings.
For example: highest setting at highway speeds, will it feel less stable than on the lowest setting?
If I set them at 1.75, does that mean I lose 1.75 of overall travel?
What is the easiest way to move the adjustable ring?
Lastly, if I'm going for more of a leveled look, which setting do you guys recommend?

The shocks are designed to accomodate a 2.5 inch lift, so you will not lose any travel by adjusting the front height. Handling and driveability will be about the same at every setting.

Easiest way to move the ring is to grab it with needle nose pliars, pop it out of the groove and walk it up the shock to the setting you want. it is very easy to move.

If you want a leveled look you will want to decide between the .85" and 1.75" setting. I chose the 1.75" setting. It gave me only 1.25" inches of actual lift in front, and I am very happy with the look.

I used the 2.5 setting with my stock springs and the ride is nice. Make sure to get it aligned after you install the shocks.

I just did mine. I went with 1.75" setting and got 2.5" inch of actual lift. It looks like the nose was higher than the rear but when I measured it then was all even.

I measure from the floor to the fender flare through the center of the rim...all 33" in height.

Reuesed the stock springs.

The rides is amazing!!! No body roll or nose dip during hard stopping. Need to take on expressway to see how it performs on the ramps.
