Bilstein/Daystar Picture Request

I am currently running billys in the front set at 2.5 with stock coils. I am sitting a little nose high, but its better then the stock granny rake haha. I'm looking to get the rig level.( equal distance from fender to tire F+R) I'm debating running Daystar 1.5 spacers in the rear but I am afraid I'm going to end up back at the granny rake. I know I can run some toytec 1/4 top plate spacers to maybe reverse that but I am worried about running into UCA Issues. So I have 2 questions. Pictures of rigs with stock coils, bilsteins @ 2.5 and rear Daystar 1.5. And any one who has added a top plate spacer any UCA/alignment issues?

Yep. Bet I could spend all day looking for that setup with a v6. Just hoping someone could chime i and save me hours of looking at hundreds of pages. Guess not!! Plus I still haven't seen a single good picture that accurately represents a lift. Everyone is parked on a hill, shooting down at their rig or some other weird angle.

No, I never ran 5100's. I had a Daystar 2.5/1.5 which you should be able to find pictures of all day. It would give you some idea of what an added spacer in the rear would look like. I had about 1" of rake with a V8, so you might be pretty level with a V6. Most applications will vary in results, but I say this to folks all the time... The best way to know what you need is to measure and figure it mathematically. Looking at pics of what other peoples rigs look like can be misleading because, like I said, every application tends to yield slightly different results. So if you measure the front, then measure the rear, you should know how much lift you would need to even it out. Could be 1", could be 1-1/2". More than likely it'll even vary from side to side. You might get away with just an 1-1/2" spacer on one side like some of us do. Or you might have to trim a spacer, like I've known some to do.

The good thing is, trying to dial in the rear is a lot easier than the front, since the amount of net lift is a 1:1 ratio, unlike the front where the amount of spacer or coil preload nets you more lift due to suspension geometry.

Daystar 2.5/1.5 isn't going to look a whole lot different then the bilstein 2.5/daystar 1.5.. They both use stock springs. Just saying.

Thanks superman. Definitely helpful. Never thought about it like that. I think I'm gonna go with the top plates up front and day star out back. I'd rather be a little nose high than ass high.

5th gen here...so I may achieve different results, but my Bilsteins @ 2.5" setting gave me a 4" lift up front. Went from 34" to 38" ground to fender. My 1.5" Daystar spacer gave me just that...1.5". Went from 36.5" to 38" in the rear...give or take a 1/4".

Yikes, 4 inches with stock coils, same tires, and no additional spacers?? That's really high. Does anyone else agree or does that seem normal? Are your spring seats in the proper orientation?
