I just added the daystar 2.5/1.5 lift and i'm looking for a bit more, I was wondering if anyone has ran a 2.5'' front spacer + 5100s at .85 setting? I have searched high and low for fj springs to add to my setup with no luck and figured this is another option.

Post over on the FJ Cruiser forums that you're looking for 4x4 springs from a 2007+. Somebody will inevitably chime in.

I'd be wary going over 3" in the front without swapping control arms and dropping the front differential. If you must have more, springs would be the best bet I think.

this is what i planned on doing, also at the same time changing out my UCAs to LR's and diff drop. I dont see why it would be any different than the FJ coils except ride the same. Without barely any preload on the springs and the spacers on top, itll ride like factory.

Using a spacer lift in conjunction with the 5100's isn't something I'd suggest. The 5100's are already longer than OEM shocks, adding a spacer on top of them would push the whole assembly further down and allow it to travel out of the normal operating range. It's pretty likely you could damage other front end components with that setup. The shocks are designed to limit travel so this doesn't happen.
