Bilstein front install tophat/bolt loose

Hi guys, need a little advice here.

Had new bilsteins and springs, among other things, put on last week. Above the top hat the washer is loose with like an inch of play. You can see the nut is as far down as it goes. Something just seems off here. The washer bounces and is quite loud while driving.

What is this supposed to look like? Shouldn't the nut be flush with the washer and tight? Was something missed?

that is what it looks like. there should be another bushing between top hat and washer. shop guy looking for missing bushing now. thanks.

yep. i contacted bilstein and their wonderful (/s) customer service said contact toyota dealership because you're supposed to use the old bushings from the tophat. offered no help despite i asked to purchase the proper parts, which they have a part number for.

maybe i'm wrong here but thats a big WTF to me. how can they not include those are at least call that out.

i threw some leftover prothane end link bushings in there to get to through the week and i'll put the proper ones on later. even with the prothanes its much better.
