First off I have searched everywhere I must say that before the rest of the post.
I was planning on running Bilstein HD for my 4runner and pair them with OME 883's. Will the Bilstein HD fit with the 883's? I am not sure but I have been told yes and no so I am coming to ya'll for some advice. I have read a lot of threads and nothing paired this way.

883's will not work with a stock length shock for our 3rd gens. It is too tall of a spring and the shock will be fully extended all the time. It may physically fit together, but it will ride like crap and more than likely damage other suspension components.

The 881's or 880's can be run with the stock shocks however.

Ok. Thanks. HOw much raise with the 881's give typically. It looks like I may have the 99 tall coils or just a tall 98 due to my height. The reason for new coils is I want a little more height since I am changing everything out.

The 881's will give you about 2.5" over the stock height

That is about what I want. Do they sag much? Even if I get a bumper later on down the road would they still hold the weight? I thought that the 883's set the same height as the 881's but the 883's just hold more weight. With that said though it still sounds like the 881's would be best??
