Hey 4Runner family. I was planning on a Bilstein 5100 with Spacer and diff drop to get a 3” lift front and rear. With a front and rear OME Hevy coil. Any thought?

the shocks seem pricey. I just temporarily repalced my fronts shocks for $175.

Check ebay by the part number and throw out some best offers. you might be able to do better.

also, after coming off of 6112's, the 5100's are pretty soft. If the 6112's were in stock, I would have stuck with them.

Definitely look for a place to buy the shocks cheaper. And forget the diff drop.... it wont do you any good! Keep it under 3" and you'll be fine!

You don't need the spacer. Set the bilstien shock to the first raised setting instead if you want to level the front/rear. What else are you running that makes you want the heavy coils?

I ran 2.5" lift and added .5" top spacer with no dif drop. I did not like it. Front end feels too maxed out. Not much down travel. I went back to 2.5" and the vehicle rides much better. Also, 3" and stock UCA's were not a good mix. If you insist on 3" get UCA's also.

Plans for the rear? Going to be nose high with 3" up front.

Also, I found the shocks on Jet.com for the cheapest price. Just double check the part #'s if you go that route.
