Bilstein TRD Pro suspension kit on sale PTR13-35140

I'm thinking I may go with the 1.5/1.0" instead of 1.75/1.0" to be safe. I don't want it looking all weird with a negative rake if there are passengers and cargo in the rear.

I was going to go with spacers in the rear but the Bilstein B12 springs became on sale for $158.

I'm at 2.5 front, 2" rear. Front is the ToyTec BAJA lower spring seat, 3/8" top hat spacer, rear is a 2" spacer. Very slight positive rake.

And the Eibach are also cheap and very good.

A small spacer in the front is not the end of the world, but definitely don't do spacer in the rear if you do any wheeling at all. I ran spacers for years on my Subaru so I am not necessarily for or against spacers; depends on size and application.

The stock rear springs are awful. Even with the stock shocks, the Eibach springs eliminated "dumb" bottoming out and also made coming off steps and big rocks much more gentle, so to speak. They helped tremendously with comfort on the rear seat and raised my offroad speeds 7-10 mph over rough dirt/easy trail. The stock springs, moreover, make you come off rocks like a bag of potatoes. To top it off, the Eibach coils are absolutely not any harsher on road.

I don't know how long stock shocks will play nice with Eibach springs, but I had that combo for about 7,000 miles that included some classic Utah trails and a trip to Montana. I am now on 6112 and Icon 2.0 rear. And rear comfort improved further.

Supposedly the Bilstein B12 rear coils are the same rate as the stock springs but just longer so hopefully they won't be a let down. I'm pairing them with Bilstein 5160 shocks from the FJ UTTE TRD suspension kit.

I'm running the OEM rear coils with a 2" Cornfed spacer and 5160 Pro shocks. I love the ride quality. Zero issues with bottoming out, very smooth ride, great articulation. I ran the ToyTec Eibach coils and they definitely are stiffer. Not a bad thing but I like the OEM coils better.

Just found this post new to the forum. Just purchased a 2019 trd off road . Friend is selling his trd pro suspension from his 2018 for 700. Is this a good buy for me ? He removed it early on so it's in great condition.

The springs alone are worth at least $100

Leak looks like it’s from a gasket in the body, but I don’t know. Lost fluid in that Right Rear, looks like someone with time and tools and knowledge can fix it.

He'll probably pull in $600 or so but at $1000 no one will even bother making an offer. Always start high so you can negotiate down but when you start that high people just look past your post and move on to something more realistic.
