Bilsteins w Daytec spacers q

2004 SR5 4wd 167,000miles, light offroading, midsize boat towing.

Ok, last year I put the Daystar KT09115BK Comfort Ride 2.5" Strut and Coil Spring Spacer Kit for front and rear.

I still have the stock OEM shocks (of course they are about shot).

Regarding the Bilsteins which I'm about to order, after reading most of the info here, still a little confused by "front height adjustible".

With these front spacers I have now, would I set the Bilstein shock adjust on 0" to provide no height?

OR.... remove the front spacers totally and set the height to 1.5" or so ?

I should have changed shocks at that time, whew, not looking forward to busting my knuckes again doing all this. :cry2:

I would set the front adjustable 5100 to the 2.5" height and NOT use the front spacer. The type of front spacer (top out, meaning that it mounts on top of the shock/spring combo and out of the coil pack) will allow more wheel droop, beyond what the CVs can handle.

As far as the rear? You can leave the spacer and factory springs but... There are better coils that will handle the weight of towing better.
