Hell yeah! I've lived over half of my life watching this jackass terrorize innocent people around the world. The world will be a safer place thanks to the efforts of the men and women in our military both past and present. Thank you all for your service to this great country. God bless America!

I agree.

Some guy on CNN said they dumped him into the ocean to prevent people from making his grave a shrine. However the ticker said, "Osama was buried in the Islamic tradition..." It really does make me angry. He didn't live like a true Muslim; shouldn't be buried like one.

I don't think anywhere was Obama taking credit for this himself and people do need to remeber it wa s acollective effort with our CIA and military but let's not turn this into a hate thread please.

Sorry, you're going to have to be more specific then. If you can't give any credit to the president, who is the CIC of the military, then you can't give a vague credit to the 'troops', 99.9999% of which did not take part in this operation either.
Obama has more to do with this kind of thing than you might think. You would be surprised what level he works at sometimes. This president makes far better decisions than that bumbling fool before him.
He is as much a part of the organization as any other service man/woman so your insults to him are uncalled for.

The fact that Pakistan govt was not informed of the raid 30 miles north of their capital, and the fact that there was a multitude of jet fighters circling 120 miles away on the Afghan side, means that Obama was willing to go FULL TILT in this raid, i.e. willingness to take on Pakistani Air Force and Army should they decided to intervene. I read that there was a full flight of USAF para-rescue squadron in Pakistan also in case **** hits the fan.

So, gotta give a bit of credit to Obama...his first bold (successful) move since becoming President.
