I had 336 miles to go on my tank and just topped up. It now reads 289 after I put in $10.00 worth! All the stations here in WV are running out of gas and there is a run. My $10.00 didn't get me much at $3.09 per gallon! Anyone have any idea why the computer acted like this? I usually read about 410-415 after a fill up.

When I fill mine up completely it only shows around 330-340 miles. I have never had it go to 400+, I wonder if your sensor is faulty in your gas tank. That happened on my Grand Am before. Had to drain the tank, good luck, and replace it.

I have actually driven right at 400 miles to see if I could. It has always worked well until today. Usually when you drive a little bit it readjusts but today I drove home and it stayed lower than when I put in more gas. Oh, well maybe it will change when I go to work in the morning. At least I have the gas guage to fall back on.
