If your tires are 285/75/18 they are actually closer to a 35....I think maybe they are 285/65/18? Just to clarify.

Nice rig though man! Now that you have the aftermarket CV, reboot the old one so you have it as a spare, or toss it back in after you reboot it and have the aftermarket as a spare. Either way I would find a way to hold onto the OEM one, like BrianSD_42 said.

Anyways, I like what you have done so far. Are you still thinking about putting tube on the bumper?

Thats exactly what I'm gonna do. Gonna keep it incase I'm on a trail and it happens. And I think your right they are a 65.

And yea eventually I am. Just other things keep popping up. Trail gear has one that I can get with light tabs for $30.00 so ill do that and get some lights on there. But that's when I get some more important things out of the way

In my sig is a descriptions of the lift I have. Sorry dont exactly understand what your asking?
If you have a spacer lift right now. Then yea u can add a body lift to it.

Well I went to advanced auto today after work and just got a whole new axle shaft. Think the brand is toughone. Anyway it cost me 105$. They had it in stoc so I just went ahead and got it. It has a liftime warranty so If it happens again all it's gonna cost me is my labor unless its the driver side. I plan on doing it this weekend and installing my dads lift.

I changed mine in July as the boots were torn. I went with NAPAs. I cant remeber if I went with their new aftermarket cvs, or their remanufactured line. But, I checked my cvs a few weeks ago, and all 4 boots are trashed. Grease everywhere. So they didnt even last me 8 months. But I got the lifetime replacement warrenty, so cost is no issue. But driving a lifted 4runner, there simply is no way to avoid tearing these boots. It sucks. Im only running a 1.5" to 2" front lift, and did very little off roading this year, and all of the new boots tore that quickly. I have a diff drop ready to put on, and Im hoping that will help the boots last a little longer.

Yea this is the first time it's torn. And I figured why not just buy a new one. It never hurts to have a spare Layin around

The diff drop should help that problem for sure

So body lift in front and diff drop in the back right??

Nahhhh. You can't put a body lift just in the front. It goes on 8 body mounts all around the vehicle.

The diff drop will not give you any lift at all. It is meant for the front differential.

o okay...body lift will lift my truck all around...ill get a lift from the front and the back...??

well we got my dads lift in. took us from about 8 friday night to about 11 this morning, but that was only becuase we had to wait on the front springs to deliver and we had a few brewskies to along so we took our time and didnt rush. everything went pretty smooth. after installing 2 you kind of know what your doing

i ordered the same exact lift i have for him so eibach springs and taco bilstiens in front. 8 wrap lc coils in the rear with rancho shocks. we ended up putting the front on the second setting and fixed any kind of rake he may have had. .I know I have some major rake. may move mine up when we do my cv next weekend we ran out of time doing his lift. i told him to remove the running boards but he likes them so their staying

Well i guess it wasn't a good idea to try the second notch on the taco 5100. I told dad it was probably going cause problems with the cvs. He literally drove to work and then straight to the alignment shop after and the cv boots had already busted. Both side too. Guess we will get some good practice on changing cvs this weekend

Had a 25$ gift card to advanced auto so I got some cheap led fog light and wired them into my reverse lights. Ill get some night pics when it's a little darker

Is that an OEM Toyota push bar on your dad's 4R? I would love to have one like that. I am glad my wife hasn't seen your pics, either one of yours is exactly what she is wanting since I have a white one. Awesome looking.

I'm pretty sure it's a JAOS push bar. It's more of a hilux thing I think. And thanks man I appreciate the compliment!
