Wanting to get rid of the chrome on my mostly black TRD Pro...exhaust tip has to go. Anyone used a specific black, ceramic coated exhaust tip you recommend? I don't want to paint the one I have, just replace it.
doesn't exactly answer your question, but since the rear facing exhaust tips make it a little easier to crunch your tailpipe off-road and because it helps mitigate the rotten egg smell with the back window down, i recommend a side exhaust reroute.
i went with a basic 90 and no tip with high temp black paint for $40 (pic).
@Esteban15 did a really nice side conversion with a tip, powder-coated black (a lot of other examples in the linked thread as well)

When it has to be in BLACK!
I've been looking at this same tip, was planning to use the clamp from my crappy chrome tip to try and secure it

I replaced my rear facing exhaust tip with a side exhaust because I could not place a jack or jack stand under the frame behind the axle where the exhaust is on the passenger side. The rear exhaust runs directly under the frame. Look at your stock exhaust tailpipe and ask yourself what you'd do if you needed to jack that point to make a recovery.
I also added a bit of heat shielding aluminum sheeting (flashing material from the hardware store) under the plastic cover that's above the side exhaust, behind wheel well. I just took the plastic piece out, cut the sheet to fit the plastic, drilled the flashing to match the plastic panel holes and replaced the plastic piece with the new aluminum sheet below it by reinserting the body screws.
I used a stainless steel exhaust tip. It's not what the OP wants but I like it and it won't rust like chrome will.

was this just screwed on? or did you have it welded? How snug was the fit?
Did your vehicle come with a chrome tip? Or just regular tail pipe? I like the price of that black tip but not sure if I need to trim tail pipe or not for this to fit? I have a brand new 2018 with no tip just standard tail pipe. Interested in black bolt on tip.
