Black Pearl Emblems?

Today was a admin day for my T4R. I had all the paper work for the truck together but it was not organized at all. So today this was fixed. All my records are in one book and all the original documents that came with my truck also. Even the paper work from the shipping yard in Long Beach when it came from Japan :thumb:. How many can say that have that still.

Anyhow, I was looking at the Documents and the original window sticker and my truck had a 370.00 option in 99 for emblems? What are they? Is it the front Emblems or is it all of them on the truck with some coating on them I"m not aware of?

Don't mind Buddy. He was wondering why I was in HIS bed taking pictures of a book.

If it says they have black pearl emblems then all of them should be black pearl? Are they not?

I'm thinking not. The front bumper was replaced so that one is gone for sure. The backs look really no different so that is why I asked. I did a little googling last night and other than finding out they are expensive there is not much.

"Black pearl" is just a color of emblem...not gold or silver, but yet somewhat of a black color w/ a pearl finish. And yes, the $370.00 was the price for all the emblems.

I upgraded my emblems to oem black pearls years back with a "friend" deal from the dealer, so I paid nothing near that. However, they initially were an expensive option to purchase out right. They are presently not offered as an entire kit any longer from the dealer. Only a few black pearl emblems are even offered at all from the dealer.

Thanks guys. I was at Toyota today and asked the parts guy about it. He said they can't even get anything other than the chrome ones now. All of it is discontinued. He told me people still ask for them but Toyota just stop making them.
