Original post:Alright, after about 8+ months of scouring Craigslist and cars.com, ect... I called on so many of them but almost as soon as I called the car was sold.
But now I have finally found my ideal runner.

So I'm looking at a 3rd gen 2002 sports edition in the thunder cloud color. 4x4 and come with a few mods, lifted, a set of custom welded rock-sliders,
new tires, new brake lights, and old man emu rear coils.
not bad for a few mods to get started with.
At around 70k miles.

I leave here soon to go pick it up over in Colorado and bring it home!
So I figure I will use this thread to post updated and the journey that goes along with it, and of course to keep you all updated too. I Will post info and pictures as soon as I arrive for you guys to check out soon.

Super stoked :boxer:

Over in CO.. and you're in WA?? Wow that's quite the journey for sure. I would just drive it back. How else can you gaurantee nothing will happen? Shipping it is an option too I suppose, just make sure to pick a reputable shipper.

yeah I'm definitely driving back, believe it or not even with the last 6 moth searching Craigslist and car.com several times a day the best one ended up being all the way over there, its actually cool though, will probably take a small detour and go see yellowstone, this is spring break after all. and a good way to spend it too.

well shoot! that one was not there when I was looking. Thanks for the share, I will keep that one in mind if things don't work. But I doubt the guy selling that one will agree to the price I got mine at, Much lower then 15k so i don't really feel bad, put that money toward some mods!

Seriously. Prices around here are crazy.

Just noticed you were in Seattle, YES couldn't believe some of the dealers wanted upwards of 16k-18k for some of the "low mileage" ones. its STILL 10-11 years old..

Like I said, thanks for the share I shall keep it in mind if things don't work out with this one

Not to mention the d-heads at 405 motors asking those prices for ones covered in rust.

Where you at in WA?
