Blacked Out Emblems, Tinted Tails, & LED strips Installed!

yeah see...there are ways. the stuff you mentioned, plus giant stickers, neon lights everywhere, a fuba antenna, cookie sheet mud flaps, loud coffee can muffler, altezza tails i could go one.

not saying you will do any of these or that you have thought of it so dont take offense. im just saying there are ways to rice out a blacked out ride. im just a fan of less is more thats all.

Yeah dude, I'm like anti rice, can't stand it. I was an idiot back in the days and had Euro tails on my 98 4Runner & neon red lights everywhere, but I didn't know much back then.. lol

oh yeah the old 'if i knew then what i know now'

ive done a lot of under car neon kits for friends. couple guys cars were so low the tubes would crack on speed bumps. interior lights are nice if done tasteful. i was in a buddies Audi A6 last night holy crap is the inside of that car nice(speaking of interior lights) id like to get that set up going
 
Fo any way you could take a picture how each LED strip of how its mounted? I just got the set that I ordered and I mounted the passenger strip at the back of the footwell facing down and the driver side I am stuck on because there isnt really any good surface for them.

Pics would be a big help because I am going for the same light pattern as you. Thanks!
 
Haha yeah man I ran into the same issue, I ended up wrapping mine around the base of the steering column in a U shape- it lights the footwell up really evenly actually. For the passenger side I just put it as a stripe on the back of the footwell on the flat surface. I wired them both to a switch which I installed drilling a whole into a factory blank switch and then installed it in the fuse box so I can turn them on without the car/lights being on.
 
smoked headlights and taillights

I am new to this website I just got an 05 limited 4runner and I am trying to make it loook a little better. I noticed that the tail lights are kind of a pink-ish color and I think they would match the color of the car better smoked..How did you smoke your headlights and taillights? and how much did it cost?

Alright I took some pics, I will post them later when I get home, I've got it mounted on the A/C vent and some random wires, but it works.

For til lights I would upgrade to the OEM 06-08 LED tails and then tint them. You can either use niteshade or film, a shop did mine and used film. For my headlights the insides are blacked out, so check www.burtmanindustries.com for those.
 
Digging the Blacked out emblems and Tinted Taillights. Not so much the led lighting, it looks kind of cheesy for my personal taste. Overall I think your runner is great!! I love those rims!!
