well i would suggest burtman industries blacked out housing but they are only for the 03-05 so maybe someone else will chime in with a find

u have to do it yourself, take it out and bake and take apart, then sand and prime and paint, and bake and seal, its easy as 1 2 3, not hard at all, i did it to my truck when it had only 300 miles or so.

I love mine. I bought them off Jason Burtmans site for my 05 Forerunner:cheers:

thanks everyone for answering to my question i think i will just put this mod on hold I don't think I can handle it.

It might sound a little intimidating but it's very easy.

-remove headlights
-take lens cover off
-mask with tape
-spray paint
-put lens back on by heating old silicon or apply a new bead

theres a member on here , bowtie3 that can do it for you.

Thanks for the shout out!

Yep I can do em for ya....or I can give ya some help and tips if you want to do them yourself. If you want me to do em let me know. I try not kill ya on pricing but I do like to get paid for my time.(shipping is the worst part)

I have done almost 30 pairs of these(Tacomas included) And it really is not that hard.

Send me a PM or give me a call at the shop

Just out of curiosity.....What are you masking off with the tape??

how long does it take for the whole process start to finish to blackout the lights aside from removing/installing the lights from the vehicle.

4 to 5 hours.

15 min to take the headlights apart(baking included)

3 to 4 hrs for paint and drying time if not in a paint booth.

15 min to put back together.(baking included)
