SICK SICK SICK!! wow, did you retrofit all those 4Runners? Are they all local buddies or what? I spy two modified ARBs too... Looks awesome, I'm saving these pictures!
If I ever got a retrofit for my headlights, this would be the style I'd like... Though I'm not sure how it would look on a white 3rd gen. It looks KILLER with the black trucks though.

Yes i did all 4 retros, and the crew you see are my brothers who share the same passion with their 4runners as I. And you're right, the other ARB was modded very much like mine.
Oh, I wouldn't bet against a white 4runner with a retro, I bet it would look just fine. Thanks also.

By any chance do you know what lights the guy with the ShrockWorks is running? They look like Light Force 240 Blitz's but I can't tell for sure.

Hey Blcktpgsr I love your rig, I'm a lower mainland guy too and I was wondering where you guys went and played in the snow. I just lifted my 97 limited after having for 2 weeks, not new to Toys or 4Wheeling. Oh and an slightly early concrats on T4ROTY.

It's definitely nice to have someone to relate to in the real world when it comes to 4runner modding. Sometimes if you're lucky...you also get to inherit some cool accesories and stuff in the process.
Yeah each one of us put their own twists and tweaks into each rig, but like you said, the taste isn't very far off each other.

Thanks Rod, the place we went to was in Squamish towards Furry Creek. There's alot of unmolested snow up top that's about knee deep. You gotta check it out.
Congrats on the newly acquired 4Runner, we should hook up sometime for some wheeling.

Do you have any more information on the 4-runner with what looks like a WMW full roof rack? I absolutely LOVE the 4 lamps with the wind deflector under the lamps...it is exactly what I had planned and I would love to see some up close shots of it. I will go look through your photo link as well.

Truly inspirational, I can't wait for the day that my wallet ceases to be firewalled from vehicular modification. Even on the surface all those rigs are inspirational, but man if you know what's really been done, and all the thought put into it, it's even more impressive. Well done chaps.

i don't know about everyone else but I'm pretty sure those pics have received the most likes out of any one that I have seen.
Good hell man, truly epic shots and rigs. I am so jealous. I keep asking myself why i waste so much money and time on my rig which then makes me consider to just stop, but then i see this and want to get things going again. just wow!

Thanks Hellamatic..I love the retrofit, and speaking of retrofit I swapped the newer XB35 bulbs in place of the standard ones, and I must say that the difference in light output is surely noticeable...not by a whole lot, but enough to distinguish the added boost of light the XB's bring. As per TRS, about 20% brighter.
They're also rated 4300k compared to the 5000k bulbs I initially had. I also took Rickashays advice and re-did the horizontal alignment to a single step-up pattern. And sure enough, the hot spots of both projectors are level with each other leaving me with a much larger and intensified lit area under the cutoffs. Thanks A!

You're right on the money with the black 4Runner sporting Whitsons rack. He used a 38" Yakima fairing and Piaa 520 Driving lights. I don't think I have any more closer shots of his rig other than what I have in my Photobucket album.
You can PM him if you'd like...He's also a member and his screen name is 98SC488.
I just thought it would've been a real nice idea if we(brothers) could get a group photo with the whole retrofit theme going on....couple it up with a nice winter scenery and it's a sure winner.

As far as the screen names, aside from me, 98SC488 with the Shrockworks is the only other active member here among us four brothers. The other two just pretty much well........trolls!:hiding:

Have you gotten a chance to see them in action? (Sorry for the questions about your brother's 4Runner but I'm looking for some 8" or 9" lights that will fit on a ShrockWorks and those Hella 4000's fit perfectly)
