Haha. Well you nailed this one down being the type of mod that most would otherwise consider irrelevant to the cause. But you know me better it appears and for that, I thank you, as well as the constructive criticism.

I was so sure you've been around for a while now long enough to recognize my 4runner...Hmm. must be somebody else in my mind.
Certainly though, I appreciate the compliments.
Lol. Did I make enough of a stir with regards to the mods I had aforementioned?
Well, assuredly, they're nothing exhilarating or something you haven't seen others have done already...Also, the previous pics were already dead giveaways to some of the new additions I thought y'all would have noticed different from how you remembered my rig in the past.
I think i'll just go into some details with pics of the methods on they were done. Gimme time to dig up.

I had a POS air compressor that would crap out on me after airing up 3 tires, not to mention the length of time it took for it to fill one 35" tire from 14PSI to 35PSI- about 6-8 mins depending on the outside temperature. It was brutal to say the least, but it had been a faithful tool until I looked into replacing it with a C02 tank.
I called up Bob Mastro from Powertank on February of this year and ordered the 10lb. C02 tank less the mounting clamps. I needed to find a solution & a location to mount the system in a sturdy fashion.
C02 mount attached to the roll bar bracket I made..
...also, I replaced the coiled hose with a straight 30 ft long one because i get irritated by it entangling on me. Plus no matter how i pre-stretch it being a 25 footer, it just keeps on re coiling back close to it's original length thereby making it harder to reach the farthest wheels to be filled. It puts enough stress on the regulator connection when i pull on the hose, and I wasn't comfortable with that. Also, I didn't like the idea of removing the tank from it's location when it's time to air up, hence the long straight hose.
I timed airing up one tire from 14 to 35PSI and it was about 1 minute and 15sec. I'd say its a vast improvement over 6 mins. Plus, I love the fact that I can now shut the engine off during airing up, allowing the 4runner to cool down a little after a hard day of wheeling, well atleast until it was time to hit the road home.

When I first found your build thread a couple of years back, I was totally blown away by the time and original ideas you created, which really makes your 4Runner one of a kind! If I remember, you achieved 4Runner of the Year!

the only PIAA i now have left are the 510's for my back up light. Following the trend as of late, I also replaced my 520's with a 20" LED from Digi Diodes. The length of choice was dictated by the space I have in between the pair of Rigid Dually's I previously mounted on the bar.
By the way, those Rigids were the prize i won for T4RoTY last 2012..ha ha thanks everyone for giving them to me.
The LED came with brackets but the limited space I have didn't allow me to use them. Brackets fabbed up..

Yeah those were the good 'ol untapped years of creative ideas and originality... :bounce: which I now have a few left of lol...But in seriousness, i'm just happy to contribute is all..I get the same resources from everyone on here so it just reciprocates around.
You all were a part of that winning run last 2012. My endless gratitude remains the same to this day.
Hey I didn't know you were originally from North Van...
I thought you'd easily recognize. I also frequent the place alot since it's a minute away by walk, and you don't run out of spots to park on. lol!
We Toyota owners should take over that area in front of Michaels every Friday and outnumber the Classics car meet.:flamethrwoer2:
