Alrighty well, thanks, I feel welcome already. Haven't talked to my bro recently, I know the family went to L.A. for a week, all I'm sure about is that he's got a busy schedule to manage, he hardly finds time to get on the forums, but I'll tell him of out little chat.

I'm sure it will just give it time, mine took just over a year to get to this point..Don't go crazy modding it though because with the unlimited sources of parts and accessories available for it, you'll get hooked right in. I did:redbrick:
but I love my truck and how it came to be..I appreciate it everyday.

I say spend for it how you want your rig to be and personalize it. Good luck!
 
I just read through this entire thread and I have to say this is probably the most beautiful 4runner I have seen yet. You have done a fantastic job up to this point and I can't wait to see what you do with it in the future.
 
Hey, do you still have the part numbers for the Fender flar gasket strips from post 2? I have been looking for those forever and having no luck :/

Check these part numbers against Toyota Parts - Genuine OEM Toyota Auto Parts and Accessories to identify which flares they are for, or check with the dealer.

75659-35040-B5........x4
53853-35090-B4........x2
53851-35050-B5........x2

8 pieces altogether including the front bumper end flares. Hope this helps.

Wheels/Tires

I was wondering if you still had the old wheels and tires you had on it before the recent ones. If so i would be intrested in buying them...

I know, I know i mentioned about keeping them as spares but, I had been thinking alot as to whether I'll ever get the chance using them again.

These Nitto's wear so much better than I anticipated so....I sold them locally and also just recently. Although I never inquired, I was worried about the shipping cost to you boys in the states being so expensive so I stayed local.

Here's where the set went onto.. About a good 20 mins and a good chat later............Hello $1350!

Yeah well, just wait 'til you see him again next time....he'll be sporting his Hilux Surf tire carrier which will be arriving by mid Sept next month..then, and then maybe you won't see the diff'rence..ha ha!
 
I love this build because most people just read the lines.

Those of us that have been around awhile read between the lines, and we know that when you get quiet for too long, there's something big in store.

I look forward to seeing what's next.
