bleeding the coolant

Bleed?? Not drain? You usually bleed the coolant with the radiator cap off, and the engine running. The water pump will push the water around. You will see "burping" as the air is pushed out. You wait till it stops burping for a good bit, the coolant will flow smoothly and then you are usually done.

Drain is on the passenger's side bottom of radiator. Its pretty obvious once the skidplate is off. I 'burped' mine in the fashion DC runner mentioned, but also made sure the heat was maxed out while it ran, as described on the radiator cleaner bottle.
