Blue or non-blue on the side mirrors?

As you might know, Suma Performance has started launching blue blind spot mirrors:
1. The whole glass is convex/wide angle,
2. OEM replacement (not stick on), and
3. Anti-glare (because of the blue hue).

The questions is that would some people prefer the non-blue? You'll lose the anti-glare property.

the blue is something new to me. As you said it’s for anti-glare. I have other convex mirrors on other cars, but non of them have the blue anti-glare. What I do notice is with the blue, it’s harder to see at night if you have tinted windows. I drove my truck around last night and noticed a huge difference in night time visibility. My wife has to yet to drive the runner at night. I’ll have to wait for her feed back.

If you have a set of non-blue available, I would like to give them a try. As I mentioned, I have non-blue on my cars and I never experienced glare.

I'd also be concerned with visibility at night. Non blue would be my preference

Since I'm already satisfied with my RAV4 mirror swap, I most likely won't be a customer but I completely agree that if I were to purchase them they would have to be non-blue due to tint and night time driving concerns.

My Acura sedan side mirrors are lightly tinted blue from the factory and I have become quite accustomed to them.

Day or night, I haven’t had any complaints. If it’s anything like that, then I would go with the blue.

I'm personally not in the market for these, but Mercedes cars have had blue tinted anti-glare coatings on side mirrors since at least the early 80s. Now they're all self-dimming but back then I don't recall any issues with vision when it was dark...

For comparison, here is a pic of my convex mirror on my x5. They are made by bmw. They are none blue.

Been running your mirrors for the past few weeks now and although the blue was different at first, it quickly became a non issue even at night.
Great product!

I didn't like the blue with the stock reverse lights. Those are very dim on stock 4Runners.

I upgraded to brighter reverse LEDs and its fine now.

JDM ASTAR Extremely Bright 2000 Lumens.

Not a huge upgrade, but enough to compensate for the blue and to help the camera a little bit. I should have just ponied up for the fancy diode company ones.

Yep, but once again they aren't a huge upgrade, and the 6000k color is bluer than I would want. I will get these when I feel like actually making more light: 921 XP50 Cool White Backup LED Bulbs

Once my mirrors I’ll be a better judge of what I think. I’ve noticed for me glare can be bad so I’m hoping that it doesn’t reduce everything too much. Here’s hoping they ship soon.
