Thats a good idea, how do the ones for our years attach? I would prefer not to need to drill into the hood.

Wired in the load resistors (25w/10 Ohm) on each side with the ground... going to ground and the other end wired to the blinker signal lead.
10 minutes later i have normal speed blinkers

Going to be painting my wheels duplicolor graphite.
My plan is to give it a few good coats of plastidip, and then paint and clear on top of it. So that in case i dont like it, its easily removable and i can go back to the stock finish. Will post pictures of the end product and any tips :keyboard:

Are you going to keep the tires on? If so, jut put paper around it so no over-spray gets on the tires.

Lower your tire PSI and stick playing cards between the tire and rim.

I will likely be taking all the tires off and painting them not while on the truck. I have enough jack stands at home so why not.

And yep im going to probably use playing cards + tape around the edges of the rims. Good tip about lowering my psi so i can get the outer lip of the wheel!

Got one more human physio final tomorrow. Wheel painting will occur during my spring break (next week)

Thanks man, im so over this quarter. Studying for my last final during finals week blows.
Im just going to hit the wheels with a cleaner, dry em off.
For paint, no primer, just a very light coat of plastidip to get some tack going. Once that first light coat dries then another light coat followed by a few heavy ones. And then the same process with my paint and clear, except all light coats. This way if i dont like it, i can just remove it.

Hopefully his head gasket problem is solved, would be a drive from SD too but hey, the more the merrier!

So I got to checking the fluid levels when it was HOT, in Neutral with the E brake up engine running. Turns out i was actually low.. my shuddering was not a transmission problem.
The guy i was talking to at Oreilly's had a 98 4runner that had the same problem i did: low speeds braking gave shuddering on cold start. ABS sensors kicking in when it wasn't supposed to! Tomorrow im going to pull the speed sensors, make sure they are clean and free of particles, give the wheel wells a good coating of undercoating, plastidip and then paint my wheels graphite.
Hopefully the shuddering will be solved after that.

Heres a little update.
The shaking problem ive had ceased when i put a good layer of disc brake quiet between the piston and outer shim.. but it slowly comes back. And then goes away again once i put more d b quiet on.. also just braking harder in general when coming to a stop prevents any type of shaking. It is not the torque converter, its just the pads chattering i believe.
I got undercoating in the wheel wells over spring break and painted my wheels with plastidip followed by duplicolor graphite. I love the color. :cheer2:
Here it is next to my dads 5th gen.. going to be doing the TE headlight blackout and plastidipping some areas of chrome..
Got back to my apartment yesterday and got a good detail day done with my roommate
Duct tape is just holding a rip together from ripping even more, its covered with wet okoles.

Dont think i posted these retrofit result pictures anywhere else... a bit late
The output picture does no justice. The start of the foreground output begins perfectly where the line of vision comes over the front of the hood. The beam isn't as wide as the fxr 2.0 but is wide enough.. and i believe there is better supposed pitch performance.
