Blown Motor! (Supercharged)

The tranny decided not to shift from 2nd to 3rd.. and bounced off the rev limiter a bunch of times.. and

BANG! I think i took out some valves.. I've got a nasty clicking noise!

Oh well.. off to the dealer it goes! and secures the fact im buying another car.. (I was up in the air about it) and now Im getting a Benz SL55!

Whoa, sorry to hear that.

Were you manually running it through the gears, or was it in fully auto mode? I was just going to ask how it was running. I'm wondering how it could've stuck in 2nd gear since the ecu doesn't control the shifting.

Mine never seems to bang into gear under heavy throttle. Always seems to slide from first to second. Don't know if thats normal. Hope things work out for you. Keep me posted.

I'm not getting rid of the truck (yet!) If Toyota pisses me off I am going to get rid of it... If they fix it under warranty like they should, I will be still a Happy 4runner owner..

And I get my SL on Friday! (Woohoo) and Im stuck driving a rental ford exploder, Damn i already miss my Runner.

Well...

Toyota has not even touched my truck. Waiting on Toyota Canada, and they are waiting on TRD USA.

Well, they have had my car for 9 days... And they don't look like they are covering it..

TRD usa never "recieved" my documentation which I sent out right away.... So they don't know.

ARGH!

But my SL55 goes real nice.

Well you guys get the picture... Other then that, I told them to fix it, if I have to pay for it out of my pocket I will... I have already retained a lawyer.. Its his problem now.
