Blown shock?

so, anytime I hit a speed bump or small pothole, there is a hiss that comes from the back right wheel. I'm no part expert, or even the right terminology...but is it a blown or leaky shock? Any tests I can do to confirm or something?

And is this my excuse for some OME's and a possible lift?!

If it's blown there will be oil running down the shock body
