I have the standard Bluetooth system in my 2011 SR5 with the steering wheel control. In short, its aweful in regards to the voice command tree and usability other than answering the phone.
I was hoping someone had an idea of how to mod this with maybe new software. I like to avoid tearing out the whole system but I guess that's an option if it looks nice and still can use the steering wheel command button.
Its mind boggling that Toyota didn't integrate an Android system of sorts. The voice search alone on Android is amazing. I was in a 2012 explorer and the newer MS Sync is ridiculous as well and I'm stuck with an amazing vehicle from JAPAN that has s hitty software...go figure.
