bluetooth OBD reader

hey guys, I've added an older iPad to the 4unner for maps and music. I'd like to add a bluetooth OBD-II reader and a decent app to see diagnostics live. Within a few months, I'll be adding a Magnusson and I'll be pulling a trailer some so I'd like tha bility to read trans temp and various other parameters.

What is everybody using for this?

The Carista app is for changing settings and checking codes. It won’t do what your looking for. For iOS, OBD Fusion is probably the best app to use. Whichever app you choose should have a list of approved Bluetooth readers they’ll work with.

I bought one of these about 8 years ago.

I use the torque pro app. It monitors coolant temp, trans temp, etc on a very customizable screen.
