Couldn't agree more! :rockthrow: Unfortunately I've seen first hand the devastation that one moron like this guy can cause to innocent bystanders. Even sadder is that he'll more than likely repeat.
Former M3 owner and current M car owner here too. He is a f**king moron. He gives all BMW drivers a bad name.
He is probably fine. Which means with his serious lack of driving skill and poor situational awareness and judgment to know when and where to attempt to go fast, (a blind turn on a public road is not the place) means it's only a matter of time until he takes someone else out.
As a Motorcyclist, my first thought is that I'm glad there wasn't a bike coming the other way.

This guy is a complete ****ing idiot and got what he deserved. Shit like this pisses me off. He thinks he's this hotshot BMW race car driver. This is the main reason I quit riding my sport bike on public roads, and turned to track days to satisfy my motorcycle hobby. With dumbasses like this on the road, it's not worth it to ride on the street.

Spend a little money and go to a track day. One, you will get to go "FAST". Two, you might learn how to Fing drive by someone who knows what they are doing! Three, you will not kill someone just driving on the road.
I always loved guys like this in my driving school. "Oh I have a Vet and drive all the time I got this"
Instructor- Hey this left bank sweeps to the left at the end so stay low.
No problem say's student= Crash off the track because he accelerated into the turn at the top of it mind you.
Student hit corner at about 135-140 mph. It can be done at 110ish IF you do it correctly. It is like a drift at that point.

I'll be attending a track instructing course this Fall to learn how to track my S4. Looking forward to learning. One thing my car has is a Navigation system (with Google Earth underlay), so blind corners are apparent. Of course, when I go backroad spirited driving, I'm not pushing the limits of the car, I'm not crossing into opposing lanes, and I'm looking at Google Earth view to see if a driveway or rural road intersects with the corner so I know to be prepared.
One thing I tell fellow riders (I've been teaching my Sister lately on the unexpected hazards she will find on the street while riding) on a regular basis is that it doesn't matter if you know a particular road like the back of your hand. The conditions that exist on any road can change minute to minute.
I've been over a section of road with lots of blind turns that I know very well, and then rode back over that section 20 minutes later to find a rock slide covering most of the road in a blind turn.
Just yesterday I went for a ride on a Mountain road I know well. One blind turn was clean and clear the first time I went around it. An hour later I came back and there was a Moose standing in the road, that I couldn't see until I was leaned over and committed to the turn. If I had been riding at 100% of my ability, or at the limits of my bikes suspension, braking and handling, or at the limit of tire grip, I would have had no reserve left to take evasive action.
A GPS which can show driveways etc., doesn't tell you what you will find in the road on the next blind turn, right now.
I've ridden and driven on roadcourse tracks enough to know that it would be suicide (and possibly homicide) to try to carry the same speeds on public roads, as you can on a closed circuit track.
Coming from a BMW driver as well, this guy is a moron. I'm not sure if its the same kid but about a year ago on another road here in AZ, there was a white or silver E46 M3 (I'd post up a video but my work blocks youtube) that was being driven the same way that went straight into some rocks and got high centered. Glad no innocent bystanders were injured.

Kid in the white BMW that went airborne was a much younger kid. In that incident, it was his dad's M3. This is why my 16 year-old doesn't drive my S4 without me riding along.

Eh, you guys keep blaming the driver; come on be realistic! Its a BMW, they don't need an excuse to turn into a pile of scrap metal!
Half joking aside, that twit's an idiot... glad natural selection takes care of the majority of people like him... unfortunately not fast enough in my opinion...
Will admit, aside from the craptastic quality of BMW products; they sure drive nice!

Too bad e46 M3's are cheap enough that 16yo's can buy them now.
