Boch Toyota is the largest dealership in the Boston area, however it seems that times have changed. Had a deposit on a 2013 TE Certified for $32.4K. Went down there and there was damage to the rear driver's quarter, and the headliner was stained throughout. At the desk I showed them the exact model/color with KDSS and Nav with Acton Toyota for $29,999 (my next stop). Salesman and Internet woman were nice, but now the sales manager came forward. Absolutely no price reduction, would not fix damage or clean headliner. Then I asked him about a 2015 TE for only 4K more (now thinking better warranty/finance rate/model updates), stating Ira Toyota (near my home), had previously offered $200 over invoice. He stated no way, adding "Why would I sell to you, you are not in my demographics.... I will receive no service from you after the sale, good day" As it turned out, I reached out to Ira in Boch's parking lot, who then offered invoice. While driving to Ira, out of the blue, Nashua Toyota (who was contacted a few month prior on a 2013 TE) emailed me.., stating she had used TE's but would offer $1200 under invoice on their 2015's. I arrived at Ira, showed them Nashua's offer, however they only matched it when I was getting back to my 2001 4Runner. I told them I was heading to NH out of respect. Gets better, Acton Toyota called about my search the following day, also would match $1200 under invoice, but I already bought this TE Premium and financed a great rate for 6 years with them. I am 48 and purchased many trucks, have great credit, and very professional.., so why this ruddy complexion sales manager chose to let me walk away during multiple snow storms in February still has me perplexed. (I was on the ropes and was ready to switch up to a new model, man isn't that sales 101) So their commercials... "Come on down to Ernie Boch Junior"..., just don't. Call Heather at Nashua Toyota or Vann at Acton Toyota.
