Body Cladding Detailing

I have a 2004 Sport version with the body cladding painted to match the body.

Is there any of the detailing tips (Clay, waxing, polishing) that either cannot be done or need to be done differently to this area of the vehicle?

Thanks,
Tom

It should be the same as the rest of the body since it is painted and clear coated. The only difference is that the cladding is paint pastic instead of metal. You should be ok to treat it as you would the rest of the vehicle. I have the gray cladding, so I can't do very much to it.

You might want to try some Vinylex on the gray cladding - I've tried it and it looks nice for a few weeks. It's easy to apply too.
