I was going to pick up my rock sliders from All Pro, but they are currently out of stock. They should have some in next week so I'll be getting them then. However, my question is should I do my planned body lift before installing the sliders? I'm wondering if I install the sliders before the lift will it create a space between the sliders and body that I won't want. I'm hoping you guys know what I mean....and as always, thanks for the help.

do the body lift first for 2 reasons
1. the sliders will get in the way of the body mounts, won't be impossible but definately a pain in the ass
2. if you install the sliders first they'll be too low after the body lift and look bad, so weld them im place where you want them AFTER the BL

Hello flyte, yes do your body lift first before your install. You will have a gap if you do your slidders first.

That's what I was thinking, thanks for the confirmation. Just want to make sure I do things the right way the first time. So I'll order the BL as soon as I check with the comptroller.

ya i had this question a while back but just figured that the BL would be smarter to do first then the sliders...

I already had my sliders before the body lift. I removed them so that I could lift the side with the hi-lift jack, plus as was said, they will be in the way of access to the body mounts and bolts. After a 1.5" body lift, I reinstalled them about 1" higher. So, to answer your question, and to agree with what has been said, ....., body lift first.
