Body lift parts. Not sure whats missing.

I got a bucket of parts when I bought my 4runner, im not sure if some of these parts have anything to do with the body lift or what. But if someone can please explain. Also I notice Im missing a spacer or two. Anyone know if I can do without, and one more question how can I tell what size lift this is?

SHOOT... but all I saw the toytec lift kit come with was the spacers and the bolts.. Whats missing?

if it was me id go with a small 1'' one that looks like its a 3'' could check with a tape measure

Looks like you are missing one of the larger bushings. The plates with holes are brackets for raising your bumpers, and the other parts are possibly for your steering. They look like around a 3" lift, and if so, you will need more parts like was said. That size lift will affect your steering, shifter, possibly gas tank line.

Really? I thought it was a 1" lift lol. At least I thought thats what the guy told me. I always wondered how that huge thing would only lift 1"

Measure the thickness of the existing spacers or bushings (whatever you want to call them) on your runner right now, and subtract from the thickness of those - that should tell you how much lift you would gain. It may be less than 3" considering the thickness of the ones on there. I guess that makes sense, right?

I guess you could slice them in half (LOL). What kind of lift are you trying to have, if any? Does it have a suspension lift?

Oh, also the reason you do not see the other parts on the 1" lift is that you don't need to do the steering and shifter with just a 1" lift, but on a 2" or more you do. That is why you have those other parts.

Well I was just looking to do whatever I could with the parts I had.. Im all for going higher even though I definatly need bigger tires. my 265/70 are looking very puny with my alread 3" suspension lift. Im getting 33"s but toying with the idea of 35"

So what all am I missing to put them on? A steering wheel extension? I thought you could make those yourself with washers and bolts..

Whats the big silver thing for?

LOL there was a reason those things were in a bucket and not on the Runner! :lol: WOW those spacers are huge! yeah, too much trouble to BL it that high!

Geez and all this time I thought it was a 1".. I could have swore that's what he told me.. More trouble than a 2" lift?

The silver thing is in fact the steering extension, and you will need washers and bolts to make it fit right. So, you have a 3" suspension lift? Do you have stock shocks, or do you have some with the travel required to accommodate the lift? Also, if you are doing another 3" with the body lift, I know you will have to do something with your gear shifter, the steering extension as was mentioned, brackets for dropping the radiator, and there is something else I think about adjusting some linkage on the transmission, I can't remember.
