Body Lift / Rubbing Question

I've got an OME lift and 285/70/17's with SpiderTrax. I've trimmed quite a bit and eliminated most of the rubbing, but haven't gotten on the trail yet to truly test.

Here's my question. I already know I'm buying a body lift, but can't decide on 1" or 1.5". I think I'd prefer to go smaller for appearances and less work, but if I'm still going to rub, I'll just go 1.5" and suck it up.

Any feedback? Will 1" alleviate my rubbing issues? If not, will 1.5" solve them or am I going to rub regardless?

I already did a body mount chop... Like I said, I'm going to do a 1" regardless. Just wondering if another .5" will add any benefit.

rule of thumb on the body lift is don't go higher than you absolutely need to. that said if 1 inch will gain your clearance then stick with that.. if you plan to go with bigger tires later on go for the 1.5" or if you really can't decide Rodger brown makes an 1.25" body lift :-) hope this helps

Hence my dilemma... I don't know if 1" will give me enough clearance. I don't really plan to put on bigger tires in the near future.

with the trimming you've done and the 1" body lift your rubbing issues should be over. I run a 305/70/R16 no spacer with a 1.25" body lift and i have no rubbing
