body lift

i have a second gen 4runner but i have the option to buy a first gen body lift for 20 bucks still new in the box. will it fit what are the differences in the mounts

Most people don't agree with a body lift alone because it gives no extra ground clearance at all, and also makes the truck want to flip over easier.

i have bj spacers ans cruiser coils i just want an extra inch of room for the tires

Lol, actually NOWADAYS a LOT of people agree with bodylifts, and research (esp Toyota related ) will give you the proper results. The oldschool MISconception about bodylifts is just that , oldschool. We're talkin 70s rednecks putting blocks/pucks/lifts everywhere and anywhere to gain ANYTHING. However, modern proof within the pudding favors the side of having a small bodylift. Tell me why not. Sure, you won't gain 'clearance' but you will gain space for rubber that will GIVe you that clearance..
I had 1" 4crawler on my 05, I currently have a no name 1" on my 87 and plan on a 4crawler 1.5". I don't be or like crappy or crappy rides and I testify that a modern bodylift from a modern company WILL BENEFIT YOU. Obviously if you want 3" or more of bl you're going about things wrong or have a napoleon complex. I got YES ON SMALL BODY LIFTS

Actually... A body lift will keep your center of gravity lower than a suspension lift. Think about it: a body lift just lifts your body a little higher. A suspension lift lifts EVERYTHING higher, raising your center of gravity more.

To answer the question, I would think they would fit. You could measure the outside diameter of the lifting posts and the outside diameter of the stock posts. If they are close to the same then they will work. Just use hardware that will fit the hole of the body lift posts.
