Body part missing

Hi all,

this is kind of hard to explain,

I just bought my 2000 SR5, V6, 5spd and realized that some body parts are not the same (missing) as the other 4Runners in the area.

My 4Runner doesn't have the wide body kit around the tires. The other trucks in my area have larger body parts around the tires which makes the car look wider (HOT).

Was this an option for 2000 Runners?? Maybe manual cars didn't come with this body part.

Can this be ordered from Toyota?? how much???

Your talking about fender flares and running boards, thats not a body kit, and they are available to all 4runners.

the large limited style flares are available but i think they are a pain to install as you'll need to drill holes in the sheetmetal to install the clips. i think the narrower black flares for the pre-2000 models just bolt on without having to drill holes. those are nice too not sure how much they are but i'd bet they're quite pricey. i think bushwacker makes "oem style" flares that should be cheaper but looksimilar.

i dont know how much the limited flares are but i think the bushwackers are around $400 for a set. I personally like the limiteds better than the bushwacker, but if you want the wider look, the bushwackers are wider
