actually that's another thing im considering, eerr well doing, i'm either picking up a welder or a garden shed, or dremel and pressure washer together.

so i'm basically buying something for my truck, something for the house/shop and my woman....

How is their sway bar stronger than the factory one? I think you just need custom end links. People will sell you anything, it doesn't mean it is an improvement.

i was under the impression it was about 1/4 inch thicker than stock

stock
1 inch (25.4mm) 9 lbs.

addco
1 1/4 inch (31.75mm) 15 lbs. ='s 224% stiffness increase

Toyota 4Runner Handling Modifications Addco Sway Roll Bars

i would see that as an improvement in trying to keep the truck flat esp once you figure in all the extra weight and such i've added.

you're good though man, i know you would have caught that if you knew they were actually different sizes, haha.

I think what is trying to say is "what evidence do you have that the stock one is flexing badly? The new bar may be an improvement, but there could be other factors allowing your truck to roll.

oh no doubt there's other issues that account for the roll, sway bar angle is one of them, need some drop brackets to bring it back level with the road, in my mind that is much better than just getting longer links as the bar will flex as it's meant to as opposed to flexing the ends in a rotated position if that makes any sense , the downward pitch moves the flex point closer to the ends of the bar which might have something to do with it.

also a poly bushing kit will cut down on body roll quite a bit all by its self, old rubber and the fact that it's rubber in the first place.
there's probably alot i can do, and really i was only going to do the front for now till i see what sort of improvement it's going to be.

when you lift, body roll is naturally introduced due to the CG change, add to that all of the extra weight (bumpers and such) you problem becomes exponentially worse, short of sway drop bracket, thicker sways and poly bushings i don't really know how your going to sort that out short of bringing the CG back down ... i'm open to ideas? and really this is just me being anal about this, it's not like the truck is going to flip over and kill us all or anything, i just get a big smile on my face though when my lifted truck with huge meats hugs a corner flat on the pavement and then flexes as needed on the off road...yeah just consider it a tick i got..... :bigok:

I'd say go brakes. Just by looking at the list, I'd go sliders, but if you already think your brakes are on the average side, adding more weight is just going to make them worse.

poll is now closed, i just went down to action auto parts and picked up a set of 13wl's for $210+tax and some red caliper paint because why not and it's going to be a week or more till i can get around to doing the work, plenty of time for the paint to cure.

now to pick rotors, i'm going with drilled becuase they look cool and i did notice a increase of performance on my old stock setup using brembo drilled and slotted rotors, so why not this time around, i'm going with drilled so i can get them resurfaced if needed..

got any brands you guys recommend?

i'm looking at these
C52-267 SP Performance Brake Rotors - Cross-Drilled ZRC (Front) for 04-06 Toyota Tundra at Andy's Auto Sport

or these
04-06 Toyota Tundra Rotors from Disc Brakes Australia at Andy's Auto Sport

or thses mostly
Brembo Sport Drilled Brake Rotors | Brembo Cross Drilled Brake Rotors

brembo is actually cheaper than ecb
EBC Rotors - 409+ Reviews on EBC Sport Brake Rotors - Best Price & Install Videos

i don't want to get into any debates over the pro's and con's of slotted vs drilled vs soild vs drilled and slotted, there's plenty of that info out there, i'm weird and i like my drilled rotors if i'm doing this sort of work anyways.

simply put though if forced to buy drilled rotors who'd you go with?

thanks for playing guys, also i did not go for the sliders due to me wanting a bolt on option and having clearance issues with the limited flares on this sale, i'd prefer to buy bolt on and then just fab something up if i decided i wanted to weld at one point because i'm actually using them enough to warrant the extra strength provided by a good weld, also i don't think it's fair to ask the manufacture to start doing special builds when offering a group buy discount. so yeah there you go, i may just pick up a welder and make my own...........
