Shouldn't there be 2 adjustor rings? I wanted to do the install tomorrow!!! I've emailed Toytec ...but I doubt I'll bet an answer till Monday.
So just the one ring? No "pressure/counter pressure" ring set to keep everything in place? If so COOL!! I'd love to get working on it tomorrow if time permits.
No, none of them work like that, the spring pressure holds it in place. The only reason the bilstein toytec adjustables have the two points for spanners is to hold the collar and keep it from spinning.
Thanks brother!!
Just an FYI... My set-up came with two (2) rings.
Most of the photos in Google for spring installs show (2) rings. Perhaps they made some changes in seeing that perhaps 2 rings were redundant. But I will say again - my Boss Toytec set-up came with 2 rings.
Good luck.
Can you post ground to fender measurements as well?No worries. I'll post up measurements after the install ...just need to decide if I'm going to do it now or wait till my bumper gets here.
"Yeah, the waiting is the hardest part ..."
Can you post ground to fender measurements as well?
Ummm thanks. OP, definitely still want ground to fender if you'd be so kind. This is a pointless measurement. Hub to fender is what you want.
