haha. some scumbag gave me negative rep for the post. leaving "douche" as the comment.


I wonder if it was the same mod that told people to stop reporting them? I bet they are pretty happy that they can leave anonymous rep.

yes, it's true, much spam lately. but you know what's more annoying than a random piece of spam? 100 emails a day of people reporting spam!!

do us a favor, if you see spam, and it's not brand new, consider that someone may have already reported it. please for the sake of my inbox, please.

If it's over an hour or so old, someone has probably reported it so you don't have to. Jesse's right... if 14 people report the same post, we get 14 emails to wade through.

Got tired of all the spam/bots, so took a bit of a break from the forum. Is it still an issue or does it seem like it's been handled?

No, it looks like they've been pretty effective at killing this sub-forum.

Gave it another month to see if anything would be sorted. Looks like it's even worse than before. Maybe I'll check back in the summer. :hello:
 
It's not that difficult: ban the bot user. Don't just delete the thread.

Why some of these things still exist here and are still creating threads is beyond me.
