Bottom heat shield of Cat rattle

This morning I was driving and heard the crazy rattle noise. I had windows up and heard in in passenger compartment. After things cooled off I checked underneath and found the heat shield (facing ground) loose. I just finsihed the job and ripped it off. Should I bother having it put back on or leave it off? Rattle is gone :bigok:

Just leave it off. You know how many just fall off or get ripped off..

Yeah, you can just rip it off...I used a pair of hose clamps linked together to secure it and keep it from rattling
