Bought a 2019 TRD Pro

Went on a road trip in my Audi RS5, was absolutely miserable and decided to get a 4Runner TRD Pro for future trips!

Took it off roading the day after I got it

Any good 1st mods? I'd like to lift it but I know the fox shocks narrow down my options.

Located in Delray Beach FL if anyone else is in the area!

Excellent choice and one of the best years before all the nanny/safety junk features were added.

The extra lift in the TRD Pro with fox shocks should treat you well. Probably no need to add a lift.

Mods I did first were upgrading the fog lights/lights, new off road tires, glove box organizer and center console organizer. Tuns of fun stuff you can do from there.

I just traded my 2014 S4 in for a 2020 TRD Pro. I didn’t mind the Audi on road trips, other than it not having a lot of space. I did add a Thule rack and cargo box, so that helped. So far I’m loving the Pro. It’s a completely different ride experience. It’s been nice not having randoms try to race me, and I’ve already noticed less drivers riding up on my rear.

The first mods I did, was remove the front license plate holder, and the roof basket. I went with the rack delete kit, so I could park it in my garage. Removing those bolts was a lesson in patience…

I would change the under vehicle lubes & fluids: both differentials, tranny, transfer case, grease the U-joints both drive/propeller shafts.
I got a 2019 SR5 50,000 miles for my daughter last year. A good mechanic friend put it on his shops lift. First we looked at a fluid to see if it was fresh-none were. So all were changed with Toyota fluids.
The propeller shaft zerks had never been greased, not too surprising because very few vehicles have greasable parts!
I spent $600 for all materials & labor.
The underhood fluids were all servicable.

Thats a good idea! I just bought my 5th gen used and went through all the oils. Engine, front diff, rear diff, and transfer case. They were really easy to do. The engine and rear diff oils looked great, transfer case and front diff needed done but weren't terrible. On to the rad flush this weekend!
