I bought a new 2008 Sport Edition 4 runner this weekend.

Red Black interior

Dumped the VW Touareg!.

Very nice. smooth truck..

The Cost was and downtime turned me to the dark side!

I had the T egg for 4 years and it's a great car to drive just not a great car to take care of. Lots of $ to care for it, even if its under factory warrenty.

Just take a look at clubtouareg dot com click on bugs and you will see.


In any event I have a New yota 2wd (florida car) and red 15 miles on it.

It hold my Bikes upright inside, the Egg could not.

Has more pickup then an Egg and gets better gas MPG.

I did like the Toureg's interior, but with just about every VW, there are always problems and with those problems comes hefty bills.

You will love the 4Runner.

We really liked the TReg when we test drove it. You can't beat the great interior. It is a smooth ride and fun to drive.
But VW forgot how to build a reliable car.
And I discovered how high repair bills could be (ie: dropping the engine to change the alternator...).

My current '87 "go to work" VW will be the last VW I own (we'll have to see if she ever decides to die...)

The 4Runner is a very different vehicle, since it's a truck and a Toyota. The 4Runner might not be as fun to drive, but will be more satisfying in the long run.
