Hey Hepar, a few days ago you offered me some excellent suggestions on my new build thread regarding bumpers other than ARB. I checked out Offroad Logic and I like that they're within driving distance from my house so I can check out their operation in person. I left them a message today regarding prices and installation. I'll post some pics on my site once I install the new bumper. At this point, I'm definitely leaning towards them, though I hate to bite off Baja Runner, but his rig just looked so damn aggressive. Thanks again for the help!

I chose mine because I lean more towards liking the tube than plate bumpers, but if I had to get another bumper, I would get the ODL one for sure. Don't worry about biting off another Runner. There's a ton of guys on here running that bumper.

Hey man I don't know if you have pulled the trigger on the ATP's yet but you definitely should. I bought a set to put on my Yakima rack and I liked them so much that I bought another pair. The are the perfect combination of a fog light and driving light and are realy versitle. Just my $0.02.
On another note, nice build Hepar. I really like your front bumper, very unique! Personally I am a fan of plate style bumpers but yours definitely makes me reconsider my stance.

Small update. Been close to buying a front wind deflector several times, but just couldn't pull the trigger because looks wise I think it would be too busy up front with the bumper and lights. Ended up getting a strip of 3M rock chip protection film. BIG thanks to GSPRunner for not only hooking me up with the film, but with some solution, a squeegee and a good bit of advice on how to install it without f$*king it up. I know the results would have been far different had he just given me the film.
Here's a shot of it. You can't really see it in the pic, but I guess that's a good sign!
Since part of the prep was to hit the front area with a clay bar, I decided to hit my whole ride. Needed to do my spring clean anyways. Decided to remove the crossbars and get them clean while I was at it.
After a wash, the lines were still quite obvious
Hit it with some light rubbing compound and the clay bar. Lines are still SLIGHTLY visible, but not nearly as bad.
Gave the bars and rubber strips a good cleaning before putting them back on
Gotta love a good wax!

It was another member who was local to me and it was precut for the hood. I think he said you can get it in a half hood coverage too. I only wanted the front quarter of it.

Hey Hepar, just wanted to say thanks for your advice and comments. I'm slowly making my way through your thread and you have a great rig! Your tube bumper looks awesome as well. How do you like the PIAA lights? When I bought my truck, it already came with Hellas, and I'm debating selling them and buying a set of PIAA Ion fog lights. I found them on Amazon for around 220$ if I remember correctly. Eventually, I'd also like to add PIAA running lights. They seem like a better product than Hellas, though I'm no expert.

I love them but to be honest I'm only comparing them to the stock fogs. Don't have any experience with the Hellas. I use the driving lights a lot more. They really light up trails when it's pitch black.

This is the pre-bumper verison! Lol.
And the effect is based off using what is called a tilt-shift lens. I think if you googled "tilt shift photoshop" it should pop up a lot of options. It's a pretty interesting effect if you take a shot from an elevated position. Makes real life things look like miniatures.

I've been interested in tilt shift ever since I found out about it. Too bad I can't afford a lens! I need me a good zoom lens first, and more goodies for the 4runner. And a better job haha. The focus on that shot was only focused in the middle, is that from the settings on the camera, or from the lens itself?

Fire away. Not sure I'll always have the best answer, but I'll always give you my opinion. I actually removed the straight intake tube and put back in the intake silencer.
Neither. This particular shot was taken on a D700 with a 14-24mm lens. The effect was added after in photoshop.

Thanks. I love getting it dirty, but also love getting it clean again.
Small update. Decided to swap out my rear OME shocks for a set of Bilstein 5125's. Pretty noticeable difference!
