Bought new 4runner and cargo cover, missing parts

Hey all, thanks to this forum I recently bought a 2008 4runner and so far loving it. Already removed running boards and got weather tech cargo/floor liners.
I also bought a cargo cover off of ebay but also need to buy the hooks to latch onto as my 4runner didn't come with them. However upon receiving the cover, it seems like it's missing some rubber coverings over the metal to catch onto the tonneau cover hooks. Anyone know how I can find parts to use or some easy modification as I'm not exactly sure what it's supposed to look like? See picture below:



In regards to the hook inserts, I came across this thread in my search:

It lists parts:

Cover hooks: 64938-35030-B0 and 64946-35030-B0 (left and right)
Screws (2): 93240-56020
Screw spring nuts (2) (inserts): 90080-18062

I was able to find these on both toyotapartscheap.com and toyotapartsoverstock.com, yet on one of the sites it lists it as a 2009 4runner. Can anyone confirm these will work for the 2008 as well?

Exact same thing is wrong with mine. I need something over the metal end. Have you found a solution for this? I was thinking of 3d printing something but i dont know the dimensions. Can you buy that piece?

I bet you could find some rubber table leg caps that would fit.
They're probably pretty cheap, too.

I almost lost mine a couple weeks ago when the screws fell out. I'll try to remember to get a photo of the piece tomorrow. Two little screws hold the end caps on.
