Hey all,
Figure I'd start one of these.
Got this '07 sport 4wd V6 4runner as my first vehicle. Even before I had earned my licence, I knew I wanted to lift the vehicle I would get, so I started saving up for doing it.
Here it is, mostly stock but with level 8 MK6 wheels and a Daystar budget boost spacer to level it out, had it in for 1.5, maybe 2 years.
Just this past week, I was ready to have the old XREAS ripped out and replaced with new shocks/coils and UCAs, as well as putting in some 33s. I had a specialty shop in Richmond do the work for me, although if I had the time and access to all the necessary tools I definitely would have given it a shot myself. Here it is after its stay in the shop:
The shocks are Bilstein 5100s, the coils are Wheeler's/Eibach (T1 front, T12 rear) I put some top plate spacers on each side in the front to get around the 2.5 inches I was looking for. For the UCAs, I went with Total Chaos Fab's tubular uniball UCA. Tires are Cooper ST Maxx in size 255/80r17 which comes out to be just under 33 inches tall.
Before I got my lift in, I put a Sony touchscreen head unit in place of the stock head unit as well as a backup camera. (need to get pics of it!)
Next step after getting the lift in was to mount up the new Demello Off-road front bumper that came in while my 4runner was in the shop. Had some co-workers help with holding it in place while I slid the brackets onto the frame mounting points, install only took about 2 hours. Although, it could have been less had I used a bigger hammer to knock out the factory studs with.
Future Modifications:
PIAA Fog/Driving lights
Flowmaster muffler or maybe a completely new exhaust system
Cold air intake
HID conversion
LED interior lights
New speakers all around
(eventually) 2.5" coilovers (fox or radflo, maybe toytec boss, dunno yet), rear bumper, heavy duty rear coils, body lift, body mount chop, 35s, skids/sliders etc. etc.
Beauty Shot:
Here's a little video I made on it:

Thanks for checking it out!
