Brake booster problem

I have a 2008 model 4Runner, and this problem started the other day. The problem I am having is a squeaking/fluttering type noise when the brake booster pump shuts off. It sounds a little like a toilet when the valve shuts off after filling the tank. I have isolated the noise to the master cylinder area, and seems unaffected by brake use. It will also make the same noise when the ignition is on, but the engine is off. Anyone experience this?

Same problem... Any update/ideas?

From the sounds of it I am experiencing the exact same problem. Did you figure out what the problem was? Has anyone else had this problem and know what to look for or what is causing it?
