Brake caliper piston leak

Please tell me I didnÂ’t screw something up! Was doing rear brakes today (not my first rodeo), and I noticed after using a c-clamp to retract the piston that it looks like some brake fluid is leaking out. Did I maybe just retract it too fast and force some fluid past the seals or is this DOA and need replaced?

Replace the caliper, it was already leaking, they don't just start leaking unless they were ready to leak, you put more pressure applying the brakes than you can with a C-clamp so even it it wasn't leaking it would have started and you wouldn't know right away.

That being said the others are probably the same age and soon to be in similar condition so I would plan on doing them at some point soon.

It's doubtful that any of them will drastically fail suddenly and cause you to not have any brakes, but it can happen, if it does happen use deceleration and downshifting/engine braking then the parking brake to come to a stop.
