Brake calipers....RED or BLACK or SILVER??

I used the paint brush to do mine. It came with the caliper paint kit and is easy to get around all the little screws. The brush allows you to keep the calipers on and not worry about over-spray. You may see a few brush strokes and it might not be as "smooth" as a spray can, but at least you dont have to worry about over-spray. But, spray painting is easier I bet .

Is it really necessary to take off the calipers and pop out the pads or can you spray them still put together and just mask everything off real good?

BTW - if you want to stand out, how about yellow?

Well, if you plan to spray paint, I would just mask off real good. If you plan to use a paint brush, then masking is not necessary (unless you are REAL anal). I just used a brush with no tape and it looks fine. I dont think anyone will get that close to notice a slight imperfection. As far as yellow....my 4Runner is black, so if I did that, I would have to be a Pittsburgh Steeler fan...NOT GOING TO HAPPEN
