I've owned my truck since last summer (50K miles) and this evening I had to perform my first [really] sudden braking maneuver.
I knew the suspension was soft, but holy crap I think the front skid plate hit the ground when I hit the brakes. I certainly don't expect the truck to brake as flat as my Miata, but this was unlike anything I've experienced (short of flipping over my handlebars when I was a kid).
My question is this... I'm planning to do the FJ/5100 install, but will this help with the brake diving? Anyone notice any improvement? I'm wondering if the difference in spring rates is enough to make a difference.
