Hey guys, back in January I did my front brake pads and rotors to try to eliminate some shaking while braking, this solved that issue.
About a week ago my brake booster went out but I was able to swap in a new off brand one over the weekend and it's working fine.
Today though, I noticed that I have scraping sound as if my pads are engaging slightly but it's not to the point where it's causing me to slow down. This is coming from the front passenger side and really I only noticed when I'm driving next to cars or a wall where the noise will echo back into the cabin if the window is open, otherwise I never would have noticed it.
I believe I swapped out this caliper back in 2018 looking at my records and O'reilly has a lifetime warranty on it. Before I go ahead and try to get it replaced though, anything else I can look at that may be the culprit? Braking itself does not seem to be affected but I also know ignoring sounds that shouldn't be there can get expensive so would like to take care of it now rather then later.
